Substitute Your Regular Cup of Coffee with the King of Medicinal Mushrooms

We did the “Wild Thing” in our yoga class yesterday and this idea started brewing in my head. It tastes like a creamy, espresso-rich hot drink. I am happy to say it is brilliant!

Kola is used to promote digestion, stimulate metabolism, and curb the appetite. It contains more caffeine than coffee but as it also has theobromine, the stimulating effects are less. This energizer has also been used to treat whooping cough, asthma and depression!

Dandelion root is also a great digestive aid and incorporates that rich coffee flavour. This root works with the liver, the greatest alchemist in our body. Also a very grounding herb, the life force of the dandelion instills survival, happiness and motivation.

Damiana is a beautiful aphrodisiac and uterine tonic. A wonderful positive mood enhancer, this green herb is revered as making the most shy wallflower into a sensual dancing queen!

Chaga is the “King of Medicinal Mushrooms.” So intelligent of a fungus, it knows exactly how to work with your immune system.
